The only way to guarantee a product is organic is to see the USDA organic logo. The Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep research site www.cosmeticdatabase.com is the place to check if your toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, face cream, makeup, sunscreen, baby’s product etc., is harming you? Toxic levels run from #0 for no/low hazard to #10 for high hazard. The Yelm Food Co-op researches every health and beauty product we bring into the store and will rarely bring in a product that is above #3 in toxicity.
